How do I purchase your products?

You can purchase our products directly or thru one of our resellers. Contact Portlock at 425-247-0545 or email our sales department.

Do you charge for Portlock Storage Manager updates?

When you purchase Portlock Storage Manager, you receive 12 months of free product updates and technical support. After 12 months, you may purchase a renewal license which gives you an additional 12 months of free upgrades and technical support.

The Portlock renewal program is designed to reward the customers who keep their licenses current and up-to-date.

Your license never expires and you can continue to use the version of the software that you purchasing indefinitely.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept credit cards.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, from all public schools, universities and recognized public companies.

We do not accept purchase orders from outside the United States.

Please include the following information on your purchase order:

  • Email address. The license for our products is emailed.
  • Telephone and Fax numbers for Accounts Payable. Some purchase orders do not include this information.
  • Email, fax or mail the purchase order.

Do you accept wire transfers?

Yes, submit a request for wire transfer via fax or email. Include company name, address, phone, fax, contact person, and email address to which you wish to have the license(s) sent. Specify which product and how many licenses you would like to purchase. Then FAX your request to 425-247-0545.

Upon confirmation of the wire transfer, your license(s) will be issued electronically to the email address of your choice.

Do you have educational discounts?

Educational discounts are available. Please call us at 425-247-0545 or email our sales department.

What is your Portlock Storage Manager upgrade policy?

When upgrading, our goal is to protect your initial investment in our products therefore, for new production licenses, discounts will carry forward if any additional production licenses are purchased within 30 days of the initial purchase.

Do you have a money-back guarantee?

Yes, we have a money back guarantee within the first 30 days of purchase if our software does not work correctly on your system within the documented limitations.

If you report an issue with our software, we will extend the money back guarantee until you have had a chance to verify the update.

Portlock Storage Manager License Renewal Pricing

Level 1

If the renewal is purchased within 90 days of the maintenance expiration, the cost to renew your product license is $249.00 USD.

Level 2

If your product license expiration date is greater than 90 days, the cost to renew your product license is $349.00 USD.

Level 3

If your product license expiration date is greater than six months, a new license must be purchased at full retail cost.

The evaluation version of Portlock Storage Manager only supports NetWare volumes up to 1,000 MB. Do you have an evaluation version for larger volumes?

No. The evaluation version is provided so that customers can try our product and verify that our products work well for them. If you need a version that provides support for any size volume, purchase a single server version for testing. You may request a refund for any reason if you are dissatisfied.

Does the Portlock Storage Manager evaluation version timeout?

Yes. However, after the timeout, you can download an updated copy.
