These instructions refer to Norton Internet Security version 10.1.0.26.

Open Norton Internet Security

Select Settings

Step Two

Select Personal Firewall

Select Configure

Select Program Control

Step Five

Select Add

Navigate to the S.M. Tools for Windows directory

Step Seven

Select recv.exe and click open

Select allow and click ok

Repeat steps six and seven

Select send.exe and click open

Select allow and click ok
