Portlock License Manager

Portlock License Manager 5.11.0.1628 release notes

Release date: April 28, 2009

Key new features

  1. Drag and drop – Provides the ability to now drag .LIC, .ISO, .ZIP, .VHD and .WIM files directly into Portlock License Manager from your desktop or Windows Explorer. There is no need to unzip your license files and then import your license as Portlock License Manager will automatically unzip a .ZIP file that is dragged directly into the program.
  2. Admin and user rights control – Some of the features in Portlock License Manager require administrative privileges, such as WIM support and several of the VHD commands. Portlock License Manager now gives you the ability to launch in either mode. This feature only applies to Windows Vista and later operating systems.
  3. WIM support – Portlock License Manager now supports importing, mounting and editing Windows Image Format (WIM) files. This feature requires the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK) to be installed on Windows operating systems other than Windows 7.
  4. VHD support – Portlock License manager now supports creating, attaching, detaching and importing Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) files. This feature is only available when running Portlock License Manager on Windows 7.
  5. HTML toolbar – Portlock License Manager has always featured an integrated Web browser, which is now enhanced with a toolbar containing "Home," "Back" and "Forward" buttons and an address bar.
