Portlock License Manager

Portlock License Manager

Portlock License Manager manages licenses for all Portlock products and it is the download manager for Portlock SMART Suite and the Portlock Boot CD. To download either product, install Portlock License Manager and import your license into the Portlock Library. Portlock License Manager can add a Portlock Storage Manager license file directly into the Portlock Boot CD ISO image. Importing production licenses to your Portlock Library allows you to keep track of your Portlock Storage Manager license file for future versions and for implementation into updated ISO images.

Note: The Portlock Boot CD and Portlock SMART Suite are only downloadable from Portlock License Manager. Previous FTP and HTTP credentials for downloading both products are no longer valid.

Getting started

  1. To import a license file into Portlock License Manager, select License > Import license into library from the menu.
  2. To download the Portlock Boot CD, select Download > Download Portlock Boot CD from the menu. To download Portlock SMART Suite, select Download > Download Portlock SMART Suite. A list of available ISO files will be displayed.
  3. To inject your license file into an ISO image, select License > Inject license into ISO image from the menu. Injecting your production license to an ISO file will fully activate the software and you will not be notified that an evaluation period will end soon.
