Portlock Storage Manager 5.0 BETA is now available to currently licensed customers via the Portlock FTP Server. If you do not already have an account, please fill out an application.
Portlock Storage Manager version 5.0 will support Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, NetWare 6.5 SP7, VMware, Microsoft Virtual Server and XenServer. Stay tuned to our website for more detailed information on the exciting new features in version 5.0.

Portlock Storage Manager for NetWare offers customers the ultimate storage management solution. New in Portlock Storage Manager is support for NetWare 6.5 Service Pack 6, software mirroring, support for Virtual Server and VMware and support for EMC and NetWare multipathing.
Portlock Storage Manager is designed to minimize the management, setup, installation and reconfiguration time for NetWare systems. Copy, create, clone, image, restore and resize NetWare and NSS partitions and volumes. Disaster recovery of failed servers is very fast and dramatically simplified – and no booting OS is required.
Prior to installing your next Service Pack or version upgrade, use the evaluation version of Portlock Storage Manager to image the booting DOS partition and SYS volume. If the upgrade fails, purchase a license and then restore the server exactly as it was prior to the upgrade. Portlock Storage Manager's restore command can quickly recover a server even when the host operating system will not boot.
Supports bare-metal restores from disk files, tape drives, CD/DVDs, FTP and Web Servers. Portlock Storage Manager can completely backup or image a server including all DOS partitions, NetWare Traditional and NSS volumes and all system diagnostic partitions. A complete system can be restored from tape, CD / DVD or an FTP server. Nothing needs to be installed on the server to begin a system recovery – just insert our Portlock Boot CD and reset the system.
